No Use of Palm Oil

After years of dedicated development, we achieved our goal in 2016: Palm oil was completely removed from all our branded products.

Use of rPET

Since 2019, all PET bottles of the Develey brand have been made with 30% recycled PET (rPET).

Reduction of Our CO₂ Emissions

Between 2021 and 2025, we succeeded in reducing calculated Scope 1 and Scope 2 CO₂ emissions at our German sites by 47%.

Egg-free Products

Since 2023, we have avoided the use of eggs in our branded products in Germany, unless egg is a defining ingredient of the product or contributes significantly to its character and quality.

The Develey Energy Alliance

Since the end of 2025, we have covered 100% of the electricity demand at our German sites on a balance-sheet basis with electricity from wind, solar and biogas. This is made possible by our virtual power plant, which connects the renewable energy systems across our various sites and distributes the electricity precisely where it is needed for production.

Alignment with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals

We also look beyond our own horizons and are aware of our social responsibility. That’s why we align the implementation of our responsibility concept with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals, which combine ecological, social, and economic objectives.
