REGIONALITY: OUT OF CONVICTION

The special thing about us? The authentic, regional brands. They characterise us and secure our position in the market. Specht cucumbers, for example, go right from the field into production. The plant in Bautzen sources a large portion of its mustard seeds from farmers from Upper Lusatia and Mecklenburg-West Pomerania and we also ensure regional contracted cultivation for the other products.

QUALITY: UNCOMPROMISING

Did you know that a mustard and the ingredients used from our company on average undergo 43 analyses and 12 tastings before it ends up on your table?

Quality assurance is paramount. We only use the highest quality ingredients for production, which we process traditionally, but while using the latest technology. Strict purchasing regulations, the utmost care in selecting, loading and shipping imported raw ingredients as well as seamless documentation of all critical control points according to the EU directive HACCP (Hazard Analysis Critical Control Points) are the prerequisite for the highest degree of controlled quality.

SOCIAL: LOCAL COMMITMENT AT ALL LOCATIONS 

As a family-owned and operated company, it is crucial that we assume responsibility at any given location. We promote children and youth in particular in the areas of sports and education as a focus. In addition, our employees have been voluntarily committed to the McDonald's Children’s Aid Foundation since 2007. In 2009, we also launched the first Run4trees charity run. Many sports enthusiasts have been running every year for the climate since then. Because every runner helps for new trees to be planted with our partner organisation Plant-for-the-Planet.
